About Face 3

by Alan Cooper, Robert Reimann and David Cronin

The seminal book on interaction design.

And yes, I bought version 3 (2007) not 4 (2014)… wasn’t entirely intentional, but it was cheap! Learnt a lesson there.

So I have ‘read’ a large chunk of this, I haven’t taken notes… I feel that so much of what is said in the book has now laid the foundation of best practice in interaction/ux design, that to some extent my reading is starting to feel repetitive, but I’m pretty sure Alan Cooper said it first - it just wasn’t the first book I said.

But I will re-read it at some point - or actually I will get version 4 and re-read!

Here are links to a few notes I found that other more diligent people have taken (to be fair, I do a lot of reading in bed - which isn’t conducive to note taking!!)
